Since my grandmother taught me to knit when I was 5, I have been busy with my hands. This predominantly involved sewing and knitting for myself, and for the past 30 years, for my husband and 6 children. In 1990 I learned to spin, not turning straw into gold, but yucky dirty sheep fleeces into wonderful yarn and garments. Dyeing the wool was not far behind! In 2008 I acquired my first loom, bought a how-to book, and I am finally realizing my wish to weave!
